At Mindset Coaching, I strongly believe in utilizing a holistic approach that integrates interpersonal conversations with an array of neuroscience-based and therapeutic techniques. This approach includes practices like empathy, positive self-talk, emotional support, encouragement, unconditional positive regard, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. It's important to highlight that mindset coaching differs from psychotherapy as it does not involve diagnosing or treating mental health issues. While psychotherapy delves into understanding, diagnosing, and resolving past emotional traumas, mindset coaching is centered on the present and future. As a Mindset Coach, my aim is to assist individuals in identifying goals, harnessing personal strengths, modifying behaviors, and ultimately achieving their objectives through actionable steps. The emphasis in mindset coaching remains distinct from counseling, as the focus lies on empowerment and forward progress rather than delving into past experiences.

The structure a Mindset Coaching session usually involves:

  • Identifying a goal or challenges for the mindset coaching session

  • Discussing action items and progress from previous session

  • Exploring the area of opportunity to make changes

  • Creating a personalized plan that included social roles

  • Delivering encouraging and constructive feedback

  • Assigning new tasks and/or goals for the next meeting
